The theme for Earth day this year is ‘planet v/s plastic’ to bring attention to plastic pollution, because while Barbie may have said, ‘Life in plastic, it’s fantastic’, it’s NOT really.

We are producing more and more plastic every year. In fact its production has gone from 2 mn tons in 1950 to ~400 mn tons today! You may have heard of plastic in the oceans, but it’s not just there. It’s the in the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat. It’s everywhere!
